Hey all Pro English Bulldog puppy owners.. This will be our first Christmas with a bully pup, she will be 11 months old by then andI am already starting to wonder how I am going to keep her out of the tree?? She is into everything lol! Any advice on what worked for any of you would be greatly appreciated!

Bella was a year old her first Christmas (last year) I was afraid of what she would do but she did great. Once she was no longer afraid of the tree that is. lol...

Louie was 10 months old last year which was his first Christmas and I thought for sure he was going to get into trouble with the tree and the gifts but to my surprise, he was just fine and never acted naughty with it.

Joey was just about 7 months old her first Christmas. She is my first EBD so I was HYPER PROTECTIVE and opted for a tabletop tree with lights. We have had a full size, decorated tree ever since and she has been great, no issues :)

What I have always done was to not hang bulbs and tinsel near the bottom of the tree. If you use tinsel, be careful-it eaten, it can be trouble.

Agreed! I kept my good ornaments up away from the bottom of the tree!

That is good to hear. And I must say the things they are afraid of can be quite funny. Sophia is afraid of laundry baskets! The only time she stays away is when I am folding laundry.. lol

I've been lucky --- trained them to leave things/items that are not their toys so when the tree goes up, they do not even bother it. YUK = tinsel.... never like that stuff

I actually put a gate around the bottom of my tree... I was dealing w/a toddler grandson AND puppies, so it worked out in our favor. Last year Willow tore up a Christmas present, which was a surprise.
