Okay so I know I havenā€™t posted in a long time. Buuut Iā€™m always looking on here at pics :)

So Murphy always sits on command-meal times, treats, toys, to show off etc.

For the past week, when I ask him to sit he doesnā€™t, he will back up until he hits the couch, wall or whatever is behind him and maybe sit.

When he does sit on his bed on his own free will he favors his right leg and sits on that one with the left splayed out.

He doesnā€™t jump up on anything anymore. He puts the front of his body up and we help him up gladly, and getting down as well just because I donā€™t know whatā€™s going on.

Heā€™s been running and playing normally,
He does not limp.
And he doesnā€™t seem to be in pain. Massaged the area and no yelping or whining. But I did read that dogs can hide their pain??

But I feel as if something is going on with his left hip.
As he favors the right to sit etc.

Maybe tore something?
Sprained?
Hip displaysia šŸ˜©šŸ˜©šŸ˜©??

I called the vet
X rays are 85 with 30 for each extra slide if needed
No big deal
BUT
I know they would need to sedate him
Heā€™s been under three times already for his eyes but that was a few years ago. I really donā€™t want to try that
He will be three on Friday.

So I guess my real question is D4C4390C-4873-4A0B-9798-28F6EEB71D70.jpg
Anything I can do or try to maybe help him?
Medicine of some sort
Someone told me about cbd oil.

I will be calling the vet later in the week just to see their opinion. 2B9E4120-284E-48A9-B4E2-09D228758EB1.jpeg1A74F327-A75F-4B6D-872B-59E0D265A006.jpegD4C4390C-4873-4A0B-9798-28F6EEB71D70.jpgD4C4390C-4873-4A0B-9798-28F6EEB71D70.jpg

Could be arthritis setting in or his hips are bothering him.

I donā€™t give him any supplements. He has been good with everything so far until last week. So supplements will probly be happening now.

Things donā€™t happen or creep up in just one week. How old is he again?

Heā€™s three on Friday.

Not sure what you meant by things donā€™t just happen or creep up. So...

Heā€™s been perfectly fine, until this past week where he wonā€™t sit so yea I think they do. Iā€™m assuming he jumped off something the wrong way etc.
and if it is something like hip dyslpasia then thatā€™s inevitable.

Iā€™m thinking maybe he just jumped off something the wrong way or something. Because other then that heā€™s been erfectly fine
Jumping etc.

Probably that. Duke jumped off the last few cement steps in the front n wouldnā€™t put his paw down. I had to crate home all day all night so he doesnā€™t walk around. I massage his top front paw with oils n next day he was fine. But yes he was locked up a good 24hrs. Only out to do his business. Try to crate him so he doesnā€™t run or move too much n see what happens next day. Iā€™m not saying itā€™s that but immobilized sometimes can help to get off the pain area. Just a thought.

Xrays will only show bones not ligaments muscle, etc. Pain management and limit activity. If CCL (bully ACL), then a physical exam Drawer Sign will confirm that. A trip to the Vet might be in order.

OK. Good luck and I hope it is nothing serious with Murphy. Please keep us posted.

Vet appointment next Monday! She said they were weeks out for the specific vet at the clinic
Then I told her what the issues were and she got us in. Assuming they keep empty spots open. So another 7 days BUt. Iā€™ve been having him take it easy and come to think of it heā€™s been napping more :/ so at least heā€™s not up and about so much. He likes to sit on the deck in the shade. Probly his favorite thing to do.
So just gotta wait now
