Canelo is having surgery tomorrow, Wed 2/21

Geez was gone all day n night and I come in to read this. . I’m glad it’s stitched up. Man they keep us on our toes. Time to heal now Canelo n stay out of trouble.

We were to see the vet today but due to an emergency surgery today for another fur baby we will go tomorrow. Here are pics of his eyes. Looking good and he “sees” food no problem lol!

I’m impressed, this surgery and recovery have been so smooth and I am so thankful for that. You’ll see some discharge in his right eye, the vet said it was tears and I’m bringing that up tomorrow. I can’t stand seeing it and I’ve been carefully removing the massive tear eye bogies.

I’m really impressed with how well he is doing. Yesterday he was out of his kennel so Lola went in his kennel. At bedtime I had been kenneling him to keep Lola away from his face, she wants to lick and clean his eyes. Instead of fighting with them to switcharoo, I closed the kennel and let her sleep in it. Canelo slept in a bed next to mine.

The bed thief, lol.
