So...2 year old Yoshi has eye trouble...

Came in to rescue because owners could not afford to treat an eye perforation...left unchecked for months. The perforation had healed over. We saw an eye specialist yesterday and it was determined that he’s totally blind in his left eye with a glimmer of hope that he may regain a small amount of sight through the scar tisdue. Our focus will be salvaging his right eye which also has diminished sight due to an ulcer. Nearing the point of rupture his bottom right eyelid was stitched down to aid in healing. Drops drops drops and even more drops...lots of drops. We started treatment yesterday and are already seeing improvement. He returns to Vet on Tuesday for a recheck. He’s a really sweet boy and gets along with the others very well.

What a great job you are doing for these poor animals ! Wish there was some way of helping these people out when their animals first get sick.

I feel really sad for some dogs in rescue. eg this dog rescued from Korea, Moo-myeong, which means " no name " https://www.petfinder.com/dog/moo-myeong-40719662/on/york/free-korean-dogs-on550/
Here is his story:
Moo-myeong was rescued from a dog tonic shop about 3 months ago in Korea. He was destined to get killed for a dog tonic, a black liquid made with dog meat and herbs. A rescuer who was passing by the shop saw Moo-myeong; he was locked in a cage and shaking in fear. He also had a severe injury around his neck. He was chained for his whole life and no one cared to adjust the chain as the dog grew bigger.

Moo-myeong is now healthy and ready for his forever home. He is great with other dogs and has good temperaments. He loves people and cuddling.
