    She's beautiful. I hope they become best friends and Custer lights back up again. ❤

    I don't know why but this thread has been a real tear jerker for me. I haven't experienced this either so it's nothing nostalgic, just feel for your boy i guess. Your update on him got me all emotional again! Give him a smooch for me please.

    Today was a day of good things.

    Her new house anxiety seems to be abating. She gets excited to see me when I return from work, she finally actually ate kibble (thank you Lord) and she is beginning to not hide but follow me around like a shadow.

    Custer is in dog heaven. So happy. So back to himself. He tries to impress her with his epic ball play, she finds him dull but does allow him to be her friend and sleep with her

    They both have brown and white heads (in the same areas) and they both love to race back to the house in this frigid cold and try to beat each other to the door! So cute.
