We picked-up Jewel yesterday at 1300 and brought her home. As we brought her down into the grass she pooped and peed. We have her in a pen with plenti of food and water. With all the meds on board (i.e. Trammadol, Carpofen, and an antibiotic), she is napping quite a bit. She lets us know when she needs to go out to pee and poo and that is the only time she is on her paws. She gingerly moves to go outside but much better than the last knee go around. Her leg is pretty swollen and we are icing it 3 times a day. We are on our way to recovery.

We thank all of the EBN Nation for the prayes, well-wishes, and positive vibes.

How's Jewel doing @rjisaterp?

She is doing OK. I can say going through this procedure a couple of times now is educating. Do not want to go through this at all again. Thank God she only has 2 knees.

Bless her heart! Honestly- Penny isn't doing half as bad as I had anticipated. She's really been doing well. I don't have to help her use the bathroom or eat. She's been resting herself thankfully. Aside from going outside and occasionally hanging out with me in the kitchen, she's been laying in her bed. Not much forced crate time needed at all. And Lockjaw - he's the one I was worried about. He's been leaving her alone actually! Sniffs her incision- hangs out by her, but otherwise doesn't bother her at all.

Is she having a rough time in general?
Poor baby!!! I wish I girls could be with one another and get better together!
