My Bulldog, Maximus, sleeps to much. Today it is now almost 1:00 PM, and he has been sleeping since last night when he went to bed. This is really like crazy and to me it appears abnormal. As a result of his constant sleeping, he misses his morning doses of medication and because he goes to bed so early in the evening, sometimes he misses his evening doses and treatments that need to be done for him.
This is a real problem, and I don't know how to rectify this. Can anyone make a suggestion ?
Thanks.

Thyroid maybe. And force him outside to do stuff. See what happens.

With being on thyroid meds... they may need to be adjusted. Is it possible, now that the heat is letting up, for you and him to sit outside for periods of time and see if you can get him to engage in some type of activity with you? nothing too intense, just a short walk around the yard?
