Lepto Vaccine Article: Danger of Vaccine

I'm not sure how biased these magazine articles are, but I am not really a firm believer in dog vaccines without statistics to back them up.

I for one don't give mine the Lepto vaccine because he is an indoor dog that doesn't go near places with water.

WOW this in interesting...

I just had Wally's vaccines done, and he got the Da2LPP + Lyme which includes the Lepto. He also got the Bordetella, Intestinal Parasite O&P w/Giardia S, and Rabies. He has never had a reaction, but I'm interested in those titer tests. I was reading about the Lepto, they were saying they survive in puddles as well but I'm curious as to how common this disease is?!!
