I agree w/the ladies… have is scraped for mange. Walter had that, and I choose to do the dips and we haven't had any trouble since.

Is still possible to get it from anywhere else other than her mama?!?!

Ellie does have quite a high protien diet, she eats Orijen puppy, and for training she is also eating grain free chicken meatballs

Just me thinking TOOO MUCH!![emoji13] [emoji13]

:hmm: Well, mange does not go away without meds so if whatever Momma had would be it. I know what it looks like, but i have no experience directly

Demodex mange is my guess. A round of ivermectin will control it. Weight specific daily doses maybe in your future. It's rare, but be watchful of ivermectin toxicity.

I opted for the dips for Walter, and he was fine… his mange was caught early on, and we haven't had any issues. Of course like everything else their are pros/cons w/ANY type of meds that you use. Before you worry… get to the vet to get a proper diagnosis. Our first bulldog Bella would get a line of bumps along her spine and loose fur… she was diagnosed w/alopecia and she was also extremely sensitive to shampoo's w/oatmeal in them.

Ellie UPDATE!!

She got scraped - and NO Mange...Vet is leaning toward a Bacterial Infection on her skin, which he feels is being caused by Allergies, he also sending out a sample of her fur for further testing, which the results will take about 2 weeks

So for now we have Cephalexin (500mg) (2 - 2x a/day, and Chlorpheniramine (4mg)(1- 2X/day), and a Medicated Oatmeal Wash 1 - 2X a week

 Praying this helps her!!
