Any suggestions on what it could it be, she is not ichy, stinky, no marks, leisons of the such on her...makes me sad as her coat is BEAUTIFUL, and Shiney!! I get many compliments on it!!

Thanks - these are much better. Doesn't look like staph, or like seasonal flank alopecia.... I would take her into the vet and ask for a skin scrape, it kinda looks like it might be a form of demodectic mange (mites), its common in younger babies. Which they can treat easily with antibiotics.

*Side note: if you saw little patches of hair falling out - that would likely be staph. They are crusty little patches.
If you saw thinning and blackening of the hair along the sides mostly - that's likely seasonal flank.

TyTysmom & 2BullyMama - Is this something that is contagious?? Could she have picked this up some where, can she give it to others??

No, not contagious to other animals or humans, usually transmitted from mother. Its' immune related, which is why it tends to happen in younger pups.

Agreed

Thanks for your help ladies, going to get this little lady in the vet asap, just wanted to make sure it wasnt something she got or could give the other dogs at daycare, i did go right to her breeder and if any other pups were reporting any issues

Also if she does have it and is treated, is it something she is suseptible to get again??

I should also mention, she JUST got her full CBC panel, and the Vet said it was perfect, if there was an immune problem, would that have shown in her bloodwork??

Sorry new, Worried mommy here!! [emoji6] [emoji6]

Its not very likely - Tyson had it when I first got him, it was treated, and he never got it again.
