Hi, I want to purchase a bed for my English Bulldog, but am unsure what size to buy. She is a 5 month old female 30lbs currently. I want one that will last and that she can grow to her maximum size, but still fit comfortably. She likes to sprawl out when she sleeps either on her side or back. She also likes to lay her head on something so I am thinking of getting one with a bolster. Any recommendations?

Yes, YOUR bed! :rofl::rofl:

Nyala is 6ish months old 35ish lbs and I always bought my dog beds at Costco. The big round one.... perfect size :)

I have found that most beds do not last that long, as most pups, and some adults will chew on them and eventually destroy them. That's why we don't buy expensive ones. A medium size should work just fine.

Here in Canada at Costco that big round bed are only around $35 or $40. I must of been lucky cause never had any of my dogs chew their beds.

We have two of the round Costco ones. They are great and you cannot beat the price. I also just bought a Kuranda bed for the living room with an eye to replacing the older of the round beds (getting a bit smelly after 5 yrs even though I wash it frequently!). I should add that both Monty and my dachshund sleep together on the round bed and Monty is 69 lbs and Barney 21 lbs, plenty of room for both. The boys.jpg

I have found the Frith sleeps anywhere, but really likes her head up. She enjoys the cat baskets the most, even though she no longer fits. WIN_20160324_185532.JPG

I agree, get the cheaper ones… ALL my bullies have destroyed them after awhile… :rofl:

Does this answer your question? Total 200lbs on the Costco round bed $40 :yes:

She loves her new bed! It costs more than we originally planned to spend, but I think it will last for a long time. :)13001244_10154177909822079_1617599211576805770_n.jpg

Mine JUST got legit beds. Lol - when they were younger, I went through 5 cheaper beds and they kept chewing them. So all they had were either a crate pad or a promo pad.
Recently Penny wouldn't want to go in her kennel on command- which is not like her at all. She LOVES the couch, but they are both crated at night and when we are gone.
Well I figured she wasn't comfy- so we went ahead and got her a bed! PROBLEM SOLVED!! Then lockjaw got jealous, so I actually got him the same one bc he kept trying to lay in hers. It's just a round cushiony bed with bolstering so they can prop their head.

Penelope loves the couch too, but actually prefers her bed over ours and the couch now which is okay with me. Our cats like it too and I often find them snuggled up together or just the cats lounging in her bed haha
