I'm so glad to hear it went well! Continued thoughts and prayers from Murray and I for a speedy recovery :)

So glad to be reading that Regina is out of surgery, and everything went well. She will sleep all night and be back home before you know it. It's great that she won't need the cone. Blossom didn't have a cone after her surgery either and did very well. She never touched her stitches or surgery site.

On our way home! Vet tech said the night people couldn't stand for her to look sad so they didn't care her, just let her sleep by them and cuddled her all night. Spoiled!

Regina should be spoiled! She is too cute to resist, and happy that she did well and is home with her family. I'll be Ruckus had a good sniff to see where she had been!

What a cutie pie. Poor things are traumatized and lost when they come out of there....they sure dont need any crate and ad more stress.

Spoil little Regina with cuddles which im sure aint hard to do :)

Thanks for all the positive thoughts, everyone! Things really are going smoothly. I've had to separate Ruckus and Regina a few times because they want to play or because Ruckus sometimes has been insistent on humping her (hormone changes maybe?). The only real issue is that Regina was too hopped up on painkillers for a nighttime walk and loyal Ruckus refused to go without her, I made multiple attempts, so no nighttime poop for Ruckus makes dos stinky farts. Haha.
