Toenail removal

So as I've posted recently George is doing great now we had a little hiccup the other day his cracked nail came off leaving the pink fleshy inner part exposed ouch! The vet wait it was best to remove that and that it should grow back fine. He's all good and it's not bothering him but any excuse to post some photos is always good.

Aww he's so cute. I'm glad his nail is okay and healing. He'll be fine and a new toenail will grow back soon.

Now that your dog is on raw meat and bones, see how quickly those nails grow.
Be prepared for frequent pedicure sessions :D

Strangely it didn't bother him at all I was more upset about it than he was.

George is adorable! I had a bullmastiff that used to jump up and stand on a metal patio table (as if he wasn't big enough). One day he jumped off and a toenail was ripped off (ouch!). He had a little pink nub like George, but it grew back fine.

Ouch! That sounds really sore your poor doggie. Good to hear they grow back though thanks.

Such a cutie! Glad he is doing well. Frank ripped off one of his nails a couple of years ago and we just kept it clean and it grew back pretty quickly.

I can't imagine the pain they must have from broken nails it's nice to hear they grow back though, thanks.
