UPDATE:

We went to the vet in the morning. Checked her in and all set. When the doc came in and asked me , did Porkchop eat today? I said, yes . He turned and explained she needs to not eat for 18 hours . I said, no one instructed me this. He apologized and I said , next week Friday , I can bring her it will be my day off. Let's hope that will be the day and nothing else pops up that I need to know.

I know. I did mention to him that I didn't know. I am prepared this time. He said no food and called to ask about water. They said , no food and water. We spent the day together visit her Nana and lunch.

She's at the vet , I was with her during the anesthesia administration. That hit me so hard! I felt my stomach drop to the ground, she was out. They carried her away for surgery. I am at a dog park waiting to hear back from the vet. I am an emotional wreck! They scared me about at her age it's risky. I am hanging in there .

She's home ! Everything turned out good . I asked about her before they discharged her and she made it through the surgery. This is all new to me, a new experience and a novice bulldog owner.
