About 2 weeks ago I took my Mr. Bentley to the vet due to a dry crusty patch on his back. The vet said it was a allergies. Suggested I give him bendryl and fish oil. I have been doing this for 2 weeks now and he is getting more spots and of course the more missing patches of missing fur. I feed him Fromm dog food. He is a picture of what one of the spots looks like. Anyone have any ideas of what I should do?

I haven't had experience with this but if it isn't getting better than it might not be allergies. It could be mites or an infection of some sort. Did the vet do a skin scraping at all?

:hmm: did the vet do a scrape to test for mites?

Christina Stephens If your vet did not do a scraping-request one. It could be mange, or a staph infection.
