I watched the second video after the one you posted... looks like the bags come in different sizes

This is what I went with. The first review said they were too big for her Shar-Pei (size 1) but great for her Doberman (size 2.) I ordered the same size (for 1 or 2) and Thor is a size 1, Taco is a size 2. The picture in the amazon add makes the dog looks pretty tiny with huge pouches, but I'm really not worried if they get the job done. The first reviewer was worried they were looking like a tool by making their dog lug around all this stuff, haha, but that's fine for Thor, he NEEDS that! I didn't see any different sizing options, just options to buy for the size of your harness. Guess we will find out, I'll keep updated.

I wouldn't put it on Taco, he's a little prince who doesn't like to go on walks in the first place.

I never heard of it before, but the I think it would be simply to just get side bags for a Julius harness, and maybe put some stuff in those. We have the side bags, but we used them for poop bags, and keys, or other little things.

Side bags arrived in the mail today. Put everything together (is it just me, or are these harnesses like rocket science sometimes?) He looks mighty handsome if I do say so myself. I've just got to find some even keeled items around the house before we do our walk tonight!

I've been using lentils (1lb bags) vs. weights, as they contour to the body. We started at 2lbs, 1lb each bag. I was worried it was going to be too much, so I've cut our walks in half. He's slower, but still has the same energy when we get home. I'm going to start upping our walks back to the 4 miles and see what happens.

Does that actually work? It looks like it would fall to the side like rock back and forth. Doesn't look secure.

Thanks! The one I found online is pretty good, it can step up to 50 lbs (not that you would ever get there) but the reviewers said the only problem is it's really hot for the dog, so in the winter it's fine, but long workouts in the summer could be hazardous. It came down to almost $120 including shipping, which is a lot of money for a dog vest, but I guess if it wears him out on our walks, it will be well worth it.
