So I've noticed within the last few days murphys tear stains smell of vinegar.
He gets wiped down twice a day.
I wiped him this morning and when I got home he smelled again.

We use witch hazel
Malacetic wipes
And tear stain wipes

anyone had this??
I don't believe he has an infection

The only thing I can think of is that we had him on filtered water for a couple weeks then took him off???
( we took him off because the thing broke and haven't went and got another one, didn't see much of an improvement with the stains so I wasn't going to worry about it
But now I'm thinking it does help :/

We did have him on a weeks worth of antibiotics-he had a small cough. But that usually only messes with his bowel movements

Think I should go back to filtered???

yeah, go back to the filter water and see if it helps.

Our Frenchie has a sour smell if I do not keep them clean... is that what you are smelling?

It just smells like vinegar.
We are going out of town this weekend so I'll look for a filter while we are gone
