Oh No, my guys do the same thing. They can't have anything soft, no pillows, beds, blankets, crate pads, no stuffed toys or soft balls. They shred, chew and swallow stuff. My Bulldozer loves to swallow socks, underwear, towels, and dishcloths. We've been really fortunate that he's been able to pass these things each time. We have to be so careful what we leave around the house, and I feel bad that they sleep on the crate tray without any padding, but I can't leave them with those things. Hopefully he didn't eat any of the stuffing.

Doesn't matter what these Bulldogs do can't get mad at them when you look over and they are laying on their back snoring

Yep, chewing through beds is the Bulldog way!

I don't use beds anymore either.

Luckily Frank has outgrown chewing on his beds, but when he was younger he destroyed so many, even his cooling pad. :pissed: Good thing that bulldogs are adorable and like you said, you just can't be that mad at them!

After I have spent a college tuition on bedding and hubby threatening to have me committed if I came home with another bed, I have given up also. My boys kill them like the beds are their mortal enemies!!

No more beds either. Mine have even chewed up the "indestructible" Kong beds.

Emeryd I think when a bulldog is involved and determined,(being they were originally bred to hang onto a BULL) there is no such thing as indestructible!
Most companies that say that, must have never "bullie tested" their products!!

Luckily, Charlie hasn't destroyed the most recent mat for his cage. I found a cushioned bath mat at Sams Club and he hasn't gone mental on it yet.
