Mugsy
Mugsy is now 10 months and 65 pounds. Fed high end food. He has a few spots on his body where the hair has thinned and darkened. Had him tested. No mange or worms of any type. Suggestions?
Also when will he be ready to breed? We have sent of his papers we finally received from the breeder to the ABKC and not quite sure when we will be hearing anything back.

Could be seasonal flank alopecia - does it seem to itch or bother him?

Looks like it could be from an allergy. You might try a food with a different protein to see if that helps. A lot of things should be considered before breeding one. First genetic testing to make sure no genetic problems will be passed down. Finding the right bitch to breed with is another, they need to be a good match to make sure you are breeding the best bully you can breed, as in looks, health, and temperament. Many genetic problems can be passed along if these things are not researched. Plus a reputable breeder will only use champion studs or ones that they know will soon be a champion and they know the bloodline. As in age, usually one that is close to one year of age will do fine.

Weird where it is happening... that is his thigh, right? Might be an allergy of some type if not mange
