Just returned home from the vet they did a scrap of Bruno's head in a few spots. It's mange. So now we are taking Ivermectin & Cefpodoxime Proxetil. The vet warned me that it's not a quick fix it's going to take time.

Yeah tell me about it, now I'm nervous about the antibiotics. I'm currently reading through older mange post.

Yesterday with the thought of it being mange I ordered a few things from Amazon.

I'm glad I didn't procrastinate any longer and I just took him to the vet. I was getting ready to head down the wrong path with the food allergy, my vet informed me he's too young to have a food allergy. Not sure if this is true. I'm also starting him today on a spoon of yogurt with each meal.

Agree -- food allergies usually show up later 1yr or more, that was why I thought it was just overly excited. so glad you caught it early

It's been just over three weeks going back for another scrape this morning. Fingers crossed.

Just got back from the vets. All the scrapings were negative no mites. 4 more weeks of Ivermectin. I don't know if it helped or not, but I'm convinced the yogurt and the fish stock definitely help to strengthen his immune system. The doctor almost seem shocked that he didn't find any.
