when do they stop growing

what age do they start filling out and stop growing in height roughly

In height around one year and I have noticed filling out from three to four years old.

so what is breed standard height for a male bully any ideas

There is really there is no prescribed height, but it can be anywhere from 12 to 16 inches. You can find the whole breed standard by googling "english bulldog breed standard".

Hi Paul, EB's generally grow in height and weight the first year, and then bulk up and fill out the second and third year. Having said that every bully is different in size and weight.

Height: about 12 - 16 inches (31 - 40 cm) (there is no prescribed height, but shorter Bulldogs are more prized when being shown)
Weight: Males 53 - 55 pounds (24 – 25 kg) Females 49 - 51 pounds (22 – 23 kg)
