Also, it might help to go through some training exercises with her involving the couch. Like, if she tries to jump on you or the couch, instead of just telling her no...you can tell her no and then sit, lay down, and wait. This way, she is doing what you tell her to do AND more for a reward. It sometimes helps give something in REPLACE of the thing you are taking away. You are taking away the couch, but giving her a treat if she obeys. Hope that makes sense!
I love the idea of a command/treat after the correction! Thank you! I will try that and see how it goes. When I'm sleeping on the couch, Bella sleeps in her playpen. She gets all bossy when I'm sitting on the couch watching t.v. or something like that. When I start sleeping in my bedroom again (I go back and forth), I'll keep her in her crate.

I don't believe in sometimes letting your bully do something and then not. My boys are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedroom. We don't usually have a gate at the door, except when we have visitors that don't wan't/can't interact with our boys. That is too much for their self control and our power to restrict them...They do mope when they don't get what they wan't, but never "talk back".

I don't have an answer to your question but I've got the same story as you. My room stunk like dog. I realized Roscoe was peeing on his cover in his crate so I'd wash it. I removed it and tried new cover. Still he'd pee. I finally removed it all. No more problems with that but I put cover on the couch and I wasn't letting him up there. He could however be on the recliner with me. We basically wore the recliner out so I'm relaxing more on the couch and have started letting him on it some with me too. Now someone has peed on the couch. I'm not sure if the cover I have on the couch to protect it from his truck loads of hair caused the need to pee there or what.
In my darkest hour I reached for a hand and found a paw.

Ours are not allowed on the couch either, for the simple reason that Boeboe will throw a fit if she's on the couch and one of the others even exists in the room, we'll have a full on fight right away I do let Joey on the couch when she's in the living room though, but then Boeboe and Bennie are not allowed in the room... we have a bit of a situation with our bulldogs but that's a different story

Joey and Boeboe has occasionally peed on their beds, Boeboe hasn't done it in very very long but Joey did it the other day twice in a row but after that she stopped again. I think you can try and give her the bed back, she might have grown out of it My guess is that they pee on their stuff to mark that it's theirs... so maybe she does it cos it smells to new... When Joey and Boeboe has peed on their beds it's always JUST after I've washed the beds

I can see how well they obey the rules! Lol

I love my leather couch because no one ever pees on it, and if they did I could just wipe it up!

I personally don't allow Ace on the couch. I did when he was 15 lbs, but that lasted a couple of weeks only! Ha! The reason I never did it is due to company. I didn't want him trying to get on the couch when we had company over. Also, we had just bought light colored leather couches . I have to admit when he comes close to me and stares, I sit on the floor to be right next to him scratching him all over. lol
    Ace! Come here boy...
    Ace just stares

I only let Benson on the couch when he was a puppy. Now he can't be on the couch. Cant stand the hairs on the couch or on my clothes. I already have to deal with the kids clothes full of hair. Benson is very smart and isn't stubborn and listens. I only need to tell him once.
