Peein at the door.

The title pretty well describes it. Jozi is doing good on her
potty training. She doesn't have accidents everyday,
but occasionally she does. But the last few times we have
gone out to potty she pee's at the front door. She holds
it all the way there then when I grab the handle BAM
there she goes.

I guess I'm going to have to pick her up and carry her. But
I don't want to be carrying her when she weighs 5Lbs.
Any thoughts, or suggestions on this. Thanks.

Oh and she is 100 trained on the poo side of the house. Its
the pee pee'ers that we are still having trouble with.

geez, @bfletch. 5lbs? i'll carry her for you. maybe peepee pads at the door just for damage control. i can't help much, i was never able to peepee train my female. i put her in diapers.

Belly is about the same age as Jozi and we have to pick her up...you turn your back on her for 1 second when you know she has to go out and it's too late. You won't have to pick her up forever... I promise.. :D

LOL Yeah [MENTION=1539]sheila[/MENTION] I'm a pretty weak guy. 5Lbs is my max.
It was suppose to be 50. I hope we don't have to do diapers.
This is my first female dog. I didn't think the would be that
much harder to train. Its worth it she makes me smile all
the time. So an accident here and there I can handle.

OK Its back to bed now. I had to take her out and check EBN
real quick. Gnight everyone.

at this point I think I would carry her and put her where you want her to go. She probably thinks anywhere outside is fine. But yup, I would carry her to teach her.
