So earlier I was sitting in the recliner and
I start hearing CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH.
It was very distinctly the sound of a dog
chewing on a plastic bag. So I told Bennett
(my son) to get it away from her. Jozi was
chewing on it behind the couch. He goes to
get it, and she growls and barks at him.

So my wife reaches back and gets it. She growls
and barks at her to but gets it from Jozi.
It turns out to be a bag of dog treats that were
on the kitchen counter earlier. I guess Jozi sweet
talked her big brother (Lucious, the cat) to getting
it down for her.

And here is what her belly looks like after.

Oh, so now the cat's in on it too? I thought maybe Roxi and Jozi cooked this up between the two of them. But they had an accomplice.

Back when I had a dalmatian...our kitty was also into helping him out. He would get ontop of the fridge and bat down the treats from there. Actually, I think he wasn't helping Choch out as much as he was trying to clean himself off a place to lay down.

Our cat will basically ignore the dogs. However the one time she helped them out was not a good situation. We were eating dinner, Pork chops and my youngest son got up to get a drink. the cat immediately jumped in his chair and Ian said "don't let Daisy get my dinner" Well Daisey never gets on the table, begs for food scraps, she doesn't even eat cat treats. So we said " don't worry Daisey won't mess with it" however it wasn't but about 2 seconds later a paw comes up, grabs the chop and throws it on the floor, never saw the cat, just the paw. Ian was little then and he got so upset. The rest of us couldn't do anything but laugh. Needless to say, Daisey is shooed (is that a word?) off every chair from now on.
