Yeah, I'm so glad Bentley is on his way home, and his surgeries are behind him, and he came through well. I hope he has a quick and easy recovery, and he's back to himself soon. He will be on pain meds for a couple of days, so he will be sleepier than normal, and he will most likely have to pee more often for a day or two, and may even have an accident due to the extra fluids from the IV, and the pain medications, these are both normal, and will only last a day or two. Then the fun begins of trying to keep him quiet, and not running or jumping. My guys acted like they never had surgery.
Thank y'all so much! I cannot even begin to tell you how much I've missed this little monster! He is acting like nothing has happened though...it's really hard keeping him calm throughout these times though. He's still a puppy and has no interest in being still lol and I kind of miss chasing him around for the things he thinks he stole when he thought I wasn't watching!
Thank you BulldogMomma! He's eating and moving around great! A little too much I've had to keep him in his "house" more than normal...hopefully the healing process will be speedy and problem free!
