So I took Ki to work with me last Friday for some socialization. She was GREAT, I'm so proud of her! She saw about 8 people and played with some kids. We stopped at the vet on the way back for a weigh in and she is officially 43lbs!!!! She's lost 17lbs!

Thanks everyone! [MENTION=2]bullmama[/MENTION], we walk in the morning everyday for about a mile. She gets 3/4 cup twice a day. With treats throughout the day for good behavior. She has to work for everything. The only time she gets a free treat is when I'm leaving for the day. She had some serious separation anxiety at first. If I gave her something to do when I left (i.e. a piece of jerky) she would goto sleep as soon as she was done. It worked, so be it! Sometimes shes quick (10 min mile) and sometimes she drags along (15-20). Then again at night if it isn't too hot. We've had a brutal summer down here in FL. Lots of obedience and push ups. Sit/down, Sit/down etc etc. I do my best to take her places at night, new places to walk/smell. It all really came down to consistency and getting her excited to go places. At first she didn't want to walk, but with some training while walking, she really started to enjoy it.

I miss all you folks! I should be able to stick around for awhile! :D
