Guys what are your opinions- Benadryl or Zyrtec? I been using 1 Benadryl twice a day for duke and duchess based on the recommendation of the vet due to mild seasonal allergies- I definately noticed no more red watery eyes. Just was wondering if you guys thought Zyrtec might be better? Vet said I can use either. I just ordered Kirkland brand Benadryl from amazon for $9.19 for 600count- crazy how cheap it is. Was thinking about ordering the Kirkland brand Zyrtec for the hell of it- $16 for 375 count. I'll wait to hear from any of you guys who use either

Just like most products, some work better for others that another.... there are a few members that use Zytec and even Claritin over benedryl. Benedryl works for my two so I have not tried the other types as of yet

Yah, if it's working I'd sick with it, but a few days trying a new pill isn't that hard to do. Neither work for lola and in the spring/summer she's on a low dose of steroids/antiinflammatory

I have used both for my bullies… IMO Zyrtec works better for eye issues.
