Matilda was put on Trifexis since the moment I got her. We were going to a bully specialist vet then and he's the one who put her on it. She never had any issues.
Recently, I've heard a lot of weird things about Trifexis being dangerous. I asked our current vet, and she said she has never heard of any concrete medical evidence of that. Basically, she thinks that the people claiming Trifexis is dangerous really didn't know about an underlying issue with their pet. Ie, you aren't supposed to use it with dogs who have had seizures or have heart problems. So when owners don't know these things, and give them Trifexis, it can cause problems. She also said that the drugs in Trifexis are not new - vets have used them for a very long time, so if they were the sole cause of crazy health issues, there would be medical proof by now.
What do you guys think? Matilda has never had any kind of issue being on Trifexis - she is perfectly healthy. I'm just not sure what to think about it!
