We have been taking our new pup everywhere because of our schedule. Right now she is just in the front either on a lap or in a bed. I don't know if a harness that attaches to the seatbelt would be best or what. This is her current position :)

What a sweet pup. In a crate or harness seat belted is the safest, but a harness on a pup I think would not be cost efective as they grow so fast. We put ours in a crate in the back seat, or in the back of the SUV, depends on which car we use. Once she gets grown, I would say in a harness, but unfortunately they so not make a harness that is really that safe in a car, but they are better than nothing.

OMG --- what a cutie pie!! I agree with what David stated abotu the crate and harness not most cost effective due to growth
