Girl in Omaha get bitten by English bulldog. Doesnt look purebred to me.

Tragically a 9 year old girl was bitten by a dog last weekend in Omaha. All the local news are calling him a English Bulldog but he doesnt look like a pure breed to me. Now everyone is asking me stuff like Does your dog have his/her rabies shots? Kinda frustrating. Take a look at the video, I have never seen an English bulldog with a tail that long. Feel bad for the girl and the dog.

Looks like a mix to me. Maybe OEB or even boxer. Such a shame.

That dog is a mix NOT purebred… of course the news is stupid, and just says bulldog. How about doing some research before you blurt out a breed?!! And as a general rule I NEVER allow my dogs to be around younger children w/out adult supervision. What a sad situation

That dog looks like a American Bulldog. I used to have two years ago. That's what this dog looks like.

He does look like a mix to me. I have an OEB and he is not aggressive. I also agree that kids should not be left unsupervised with dogs that aren't familiar with them. Again owner stupidity and now the poor dog has to suffer. The fact that he wasn't vaccinated properly is an indication to me that he probably wasn't trained either.

I didn't read the story but most of the time, it's owner error
and the dogs get put down. Never leave young children un-
supervised, just common sense!
