Bella had a yellowish discharge several weeks ago. I know in female dogs initially this is some what normal prior to coming into heat but she's only 12 weeks now and at the time was around 9 weeks. The vet said it looked like vaginitis and put her on an antibiotic and it went away. It had come back now and her private area looks to be red and inflamed. She's still her regular self, eating and going to the bathroom the only other thing that has happened that isn't customary for her is she's peed in her bed twice this week ??? Any advice or experience with this would be greatly appreciated

It does sound like a uti. Be on the lookout for the onset of yeast from being on the antibiotics.

Vaginitis is more of a local type of infection, which is why it's not much concern, kinda like a cut that turns yucky, and neosporin will help kill the local bacteria.

With the peeing though, it does sound like maybe the bacteria has moved into the urethra so she may have a UTI.
