    Thanks everyone for your help!! I think by reading comments and watching video, it is a reverse sneeze. I will try to take a video next time and post it. Thanks again to all who helped

    Great idea, I will try that next time it happens to one of mine! Usually when they are over excited about something is when I've noticed it.

    How old is Meatball? I ask because I had a bulldog that also had a problem with this and it was a sign of heart failure. I do not say this to panic you - it could be a reverse sneeze! - but if it tends to happen while he's laying down or when he gets excited, and he seems uncomfortable, you might want to see a vet.
