I'd bearly rolled out of bed when the phone was ringing this morning and it turned out to be my best friend who I got Sadie from. Sadies sister Jasmine was supposed to go to another home but did her best to say with my friend. So now we each have a bully. She was going to be in town and wanted to go to lunch, and wanted to know if I would babysit for her. Sure!

OH MY GOODNESS what a difference!! Jasmine is soo EB typey! She's relaxed and calm, although was attempting to dominate everyone. I tried to hide it from them but I had to smirk when Jasmine was dominating Sadie, and Jay used his nose to push Jasmine down, and promptly hopped over Sadie to stand over Jasmine as she was on her back as if to say, "My Sadie is queen, your welcome to be over me, but thats my lil sister!" I was actually surprized since Sadie was supposed to be the dog aggressive one of the pair but she showed no signs with her sister. Sadie is SO athletic compared to her! They did a big of playing and wrestling but Jazzy was content to lay in the grass and watch Sadie and Jay roll and tumble.

We all agreed that Sadie acts much more like a french bulldog than she does an english bully. The joke was made that we ought to get her into Flyball LOL!:D

I was quite tickled when my friend petted Sadie, and commented that her coat was much softer than it had been when they were picked up. We discussed some of the top foods and she's going to be looking into switching food not only for Jasmine but for her show prospect boxer, Ian.

All in all it was a very fun morning. I'm SO positive that my friend made the best decision possible for the two sisters, one coming here and the other staying with her. As much as I love the bully laziness that Jasmine showed, I realized how much I adore my bully with the energy of a rat terrier.

Pictures to follow later today!

That sounds like a great day! Glad you shared your input on the food too! Molly looks so great now, I cannot keep my hands off of her soft fur, and she is not even on the best of the best yet. I am looking for a place in town that sells one of the top quality foods so we can put all of the girls on it. Doing some experimenting now, each bully has a different bag of "quality" dog food. Some more quality than others! Molly looks the best so far on Avoderm Lamb & Rice Oven baked.

All of our girls have a different personality, and glad yours suits you. Our Jesse sounds like your baby, playful and energetic. Mandy could care less, she just want to know when her next meal is (working on that one still) I think we FINALLY have a snuggle bunny in our pup Tidus. When I sit on the floor Molly gets so excited she wont stop licking my face, Yuna runs around sniffing and exploring, and Tidus just climbs into my lap and plops down. He does not move, that is his little spot. Been waiting for a bully cuddler for a long time! :)

Sadies definitely like your Jesse, but also like Molly as well with the unabated excitement that there are people lol.

I do have to say, Yes, Jasmine is a bit pudgy. She's been on a weightloss plan since being with my friend and although I couldn't tell, shes lost weight already according to my friend. Her nose wrinkles have improved from what I hear as well. My friend said they were very raw when she was first picked up :(

Oh yes, she has some painful looking yeast in there. What a gorgeous rope! That will look amazing if you get that cleared up! Has your vet prescribed you any animax cream for the yeast? If not, good ol' vagisil wipes or vagisil cream will help too.

Was wondering on the black patch on the side, is that the color of fur or did something happen there?

My friends using a cream, but she didn't specify, she said it was pretty raw when she first got the girls. Sadie and Jasmine were with her for a few days before she had them vetchecked, shots updated and both spayed. Following the surgery Sadie came straight here while Jasmine recovered with my friend. She was planning on adopting Jasmine out to another home but fell in love and is keeping her. She's a professional dog trainer, shower and boxer breeder so I really feel happy knowing that she's keeping Jasmine. So that means that she gets to come for visits!

She said she was told that her "bolt" was from a time that she rubbed the hair off itching on the inside of her kennel and thats how it grew back. At least thats the story she was told from the people she picked these two up from.

The picture of how these guys lived wasn't a really pretty one. They will be much better off IMO.

I do have some pics the day that I got Sadie, and these of Jasmine but I actually wasn't present when they were picked up from their previous home. Both have room for improvement so I'll make sure to back up the photos :)
