Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone in the New Jersey area can recommend a pet sitter. We have a long vacation coming up, planned by my mother before Meatball came. Any recommendations would be great. Since we are flying, taking him is not a option. I have heard some people actually watch dogs in their own home for a living. Anyone heard of this? Any advice would be great. Thanks

I know my vet "boards", but there is just a crate. I didn't see much "free time". I will ask if anyone there would come to my home. Thanks for idea.

South Jersey girl here...I've seen a lot of advertising for pet sitters lately, but since I never get to go anywhere (have an elderly aunt I have to look after), I've never had to use anyone. Are you in North, Central or South Jersey. A former boss of mine used to board his dog at a place that was really ritzy...more like a vacation/spa for pets. It was down here in South Jersey. Any time I've had to leave Dudley it's only been for a couple of days and he goes to his vet's - where they spoil him even more rotten than he already is!
