So I took Rambo to vet because I noticed him blinking and guess what is wrong.......

He has hair growing on his eyeball????? They have me some drops to help with his blinking and when I get him fixed they will try and pluck it wow weird

The eyelashes are most likely growing off the inside of the eye lid, poor guy. I hope the drops help.

It's pretty common- it's called distichiasis. Duchess had cryosurgery last august to have them removed- they have since grown back- I'm awaiting our yearly check up in June to decide what to do this time.

actually very common and it can cause ulcers on the eyes. Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes

Was the surgery very expensive? They said they might be able to pluck them when he is being fixed.

when you pluck them they grow back two fold most of the time. The cryosurgery was about $1400 for both eyes all 4 lids and only an eye specialist can perform the procedure. . There is a chance of reoccurrence with surgery also. Duchess I can definitely see has lashes that grew back in however they don't seem to bother her. I'll get advice from my vet when we go for our yearly check up.
