I haven't really paid attention to the angle they walk, they trot side by side on walks and normally walk right beside me ... but now I'm going to have to watch them closer

Never! Maruko always walks at an angle and she tends to walk in a diagnose direction. She walks next to me and few steps later would bump her face on my leg.
