12 step program...

I think my wife and kids are going to hold an intervention soon...

I wake up early (5am) to wrestle with Kevin before i go to work.
I go home on my lunch breaks to make sure he's ok..
I come home and push the kids out of the way so Kevin can welcome me home..
I help him with his homework each night (sit, down, stay..)..
I have a large section of the fridge dedicated to treats (cheese curds) that say "DONT TOUCH! KEVIN ONLY!!"..
I've spent a large sum of money finding the right collar and harness..
I've spent a larger sum of money special ordering him a custom football jersey..
I lay on the floor with him each night playing games of "Don't bite to hard" and "ouch! i'm bleeding"..
I make sure he's all tucked in at night.. snuggled into his well-equipped-crate..

maybe i can see their point..

I really haven't seen my youngest son in a few weeks (he's 12.. i think)
I remember somebody saying something about my daughter making the water polo team..
I think i was supposed to go visit some collage with my oldest.. sometime..
I did spend all of Valentines day with my wife.. just because Kevin's edible bouquet was larger then my wife's Flowers shouldn't get me in trouble!

In my defense:
I didn't want another dog.. He was a bribe/gift from my wife. I blame them!!

Puppies are addicting... am i right?

Well, since we are all Kevin fans, and also all "addicts" she may as well skip calling any of us to the "intervention!" By the time we were done-she'd be PUPPY shopping!!!!

I think the thing that put them over the edge was when i showed my family an early demo of a "Tickle Me Kevin" iPhone app i wrote.

I have three kids. When my husband and I are in any kind of a crowd, we do not talk to much of the kiddies (well maybe a little) . I was always the one who was bully obsessed but my husband is in a close running.

Kevin might be a bit spoiled... but Molly breaks records for being SPOILED.

Wife = Alpha
Molly = Alpha's Minion
Me = Somewhere in the middle of the pack.

My wife works at home most days and Molly is her baby. If Molly wants it... Molly gets it. A great example: I bought Kevin a new collar last week.. My wife liked it so much Molly is still wearing it

The worst part is Molly really only obeys my wife. If she's outside i can try to get her inside until i'm blue in the face from yelling.. my wife could whisper 'Molly' and she'd magically appear at my wife's side.


Kevin is also the name of a Minion in "Despicable Me".. as in.. he's supposed to be my little Minion
