So far Sadie loves to play with toys, as long as someone else is playing with her. Doesn't matter if its me, hubby, or Jay. There are alot of times I see Jay offering a toy to her for a game of chase or tug, but unless its for wrestle time she's not too interested in playing inside.

Jay is great as far as self entertainment goes. Its not uncommon to find him sprawled out on the floor with his "prey" usually a kong, rope tug or his ring tugs.

Unless a ball is rolled past her Sadies not too big into playing by herself. What toys have you guys found to keep your bullies busy? I hate to say it but I think something with flavor would work best as she loves chews and my homemade cookies stuffed into a hollowed beef bone. So far thats the only thing I can get her to self entertain with.

She hasn't chewed up ANYTHING at all in the house. I do have to give her huge credit there. The dogs to have a toybox with assorted toys but she's just not that interested.

I have to admit I'm not sure how much she was able to play at her last home, but I think it would be better for her than standing in the middle of the living room staring at the wall while we are watching tv. I can only imagine what it was like for her :(

Mine love this pink squeaky bone. For some reason it seems to be the favorite of everyone!! It is big enough to fit in their mouths and is kinda soft. I think I got it at walmart?

Anything that Cutty can fetch but his #1 is his ball. He does like to chew on bones also but thats it for playing. He is obsessed!

Well, Momo likes my hand as a chew toy sometimes. ;-)
Other than that, she enjoys the thin long sqeeky toy that was shown on the Beneful commerical...ya'll know the toy I'm referring to? Got it from Petsmart on sale for $2.49. She gets raw hide bones every once in awhile, always with supervision. Oh yeah, and her kong filled with peanut butter.

Sounds like I'll have to be on the lookout for squeaky toys. I really dont like giving rawhides, for alot of reasons. I like getting the dried meat chews, bully sticks[as much as it grosses me out.] and the very hard to break beef bones. I don't like the cooked bones that seem to crumble when chewed.

I'd also like to keep play time separate from treat/snack time. Unfortunately Sadie has guarded one particular bone from not only our other dog, but from company as well. She's doing this as a learned behaviour from her last home and we are still working on correcting the behaviour. So for now she gets her chewies in the comfort of her kennel so she doesn't have to worry that someone else might get it.

Toys on the other hand she is not aggressive about at all so I feel safer getting more toys than treats in the meantime. I'll just have to keep my eyes open for noise making toys as squeakers seem to reign supreme heheheh. Now that I think about it, the first week she was here she kept kidnapping one of my stuffed frogs will a rolling noise maker inside.

Has anyone tried best bully sticks? We are going to order some, we got affiliated with them so we need to test out the product to make sure we want to endorse them! :) The link is on the home page or community news page if you want to check it out. Hoping they are good! If anyone gets some, let us know if they are good or not!

Ya know, I've never really paid attention to the brand, just made sure they're the...pizzle I guess its called. I'll have to try those next time I order :D

Squeaky toys and things that roll....My cousin and his wife just stopped by, baby in stroller and Sadie was quite determined that she was going to be eating the stroller wheels. Time for a skateboard!

lol!!! I was thinking of getting one too!!

Sam LOVES his toys but there are very few out there that he can't destroy. I have tried SO many kinds but the extreme kong XL, the souper size nylabone durables and the colossal size 2 knot rope toy are the ONLY toys I have found that he can't destroy. He likes all toys but I only give him those ones because I don't want to have him eating or choking on little pieces of some toy he can destroy. Does any one know of any REALLY durable toy? I have tried Tuffies, the virtually indestruble toy collection, that has a bulldog on the front, those toys shaped like tires called tire biters or whatever, all kinds that are supposed to be really durable but those 3 are the only ones that really hold up. I feel bad, doesn't seem like alot of variety and he loves squecky, goes CRAZY but none of those toys squeck.
