Bubba and my 2 terriors have been on Fromm Chicken a la Veg for about 1 1/2 years now. My 2 terriors are recently have intestinal issues with this dry food; not sure why. Vet is recommending different dog food, although he knows it's a good one.. The thing is....I would like to have all 3 on the same food, which would be easier. Bubba, however, is allergic to salmon, lamb, peas (peas are in almost every food!). So, my question is: Is Evo's turkey and chicken formula ok for Bubba or is there too much protein in it?

Sorry for my delay, been offline several days. I'm not up on EVO but
will look at it and get back on this question. Cami was on Fromm's
Chicken a la Veg and had terrible, continual gas, I changed her to TOTW
Bison & Venison GrainFree and she only farts if she gets a bite of pizza,
french fry, etc. Would that be an option for all your bullies?

Yes..Bubba has horrible gas, unless he takes probiotics. The other 2 dogs that are on it are not bulldogs..but they both are not doing well on it for the last few weeks. Having to switch foods. I looked up TOTW ingrediants;Bubba is allergicto lamb, peas, salmon. Had looked at that before . was wondering what everyone thought of EVO.

Evo is an excellent food.

There's no such thing as too high protein percentage on kibbles for a dog unless: 1.) your dog has a medical condition that prevents protein absorption, or 2.) the protein comes from plants.

Walley-Bubba aka Wooley Bulley aka Walter! aka Landi!!
Walley-Bubba was weaned to Evo Turkey and Chicken by the breeder.
We got him at 8 weeks.
As time progressed, his stools became soft-serve and really smelly.
Then, starting in March 2013, Evo had several recalls in a row when WB was about 4 moths old.
We couldn't get the Evo Turkey and Chicken food anymore.
Thanks alot P&G!

With no choice, we switched to Natures Variety Instinct Chicken Meal.
NVI was the most compatible with the old Evo food.
We had no chance to transition to the new food gradually.
So the results were not great at first.
Feeding him NVI resulted in black, soft-serve stool that smelled awful.
Also, red face and watery eyes.

So we tried Fromm Pork and Peas.
Almost immediately noticed normal stool without the horrendous smell.
But over the next few months, we noticed his tear stains getting worse.
And a distinct yeasty odor.
Out breeder recommended Taste of the Wild Buffalo and Venison.

With TOTW, the tear stain and yeasty odor problems gradually began to clear up.
Daily HexaChlor-K wipes finished the job and we plan on using them forever.
White fur has re-grown over the brown/red folds.
It took about 6 months but he's perfect now.

Anyway, our bottom line is that we don't trust Evo anymore.
TOTW seems to work best for our WB so we will try to stick to that.

Thanks everyone for your imput! Decided I will switch to Fromm duck and sweet potato. It doesn't have anything in it that Bubba is allergic to.
