Gassiness, at least in our house, for my bully means that a certain food is not agreeing with him. For example, if I give him cauliflower, he will be gassy all night. When I was feeding him Orijen six fish, he was constantly gassy but once, I switch him over to something else, the gassiness stop. So definitely check his diet and see which is the culprit. I hope this help.

Agreeing with Susie, sounds diet related...even a bite or two of people food (pizza, cookie, etc)
could do it, store treats containing grain or certain protein that doesn't agree w/them. The Nutro
might be fine but the protein source might be wrong...for instance, are you feeding chicken Nutro,
then you might try lamb Nutro or Bison Nutro. Many bullies are sensitive to chicken...it makes Cami
have terrible gas! She is now on TOTW Bison & Venison and has no gas. If she gets pizza, cookies
or occasional bite of chicken...terrible, stinky gas!

Sorry...in trying to help, I went to your profile page where it still states you feed royal canin.

He is not on royal canine, he has been on Nutro Grain Free food for 6 months. I'm going to start and try yogurt tomorrow.

Your profile page states you are feeding royal canin, thats what I used trying to help
figure out the problem. It IS something that does not agree with their gut. Perhaps
changing the Nutro protein~meat choice~to different one?

Punk is on Royal Canin and has not had any problems with gas, Mickey is on a special kidney food and he does fine unless he eats some of Punk's RC, then he clears the room . . . :p

Ever since I stopped cooking (temporarily) for my boys and switched them to kibble, they have been farting A LOT. Last night i could've sworn someone pooped in the bed b/c it stank so bad. I searched and searched and no poop so it was definitely their farts. I give them yogurt 3-4 times a week too and it doesn't seem to ease up on the gas issue. Maybe i will have to do it more often now. :fart:
That is so funny haha little stinky booty's lol

Just because someone WORKS in a pet store, doesn't always mean they know what they are doing! Have come across THAT many times.

A lot of people give it with meals. We give it to Harlea as her morning after breakfast as I am going to work snack and then as her night time snack before bedtime.

Thank you. Should I give it once a day? Is a tablespoon to much for him?
