Trip to New Orleans

My trip was great. I loves seeing my niece and getting to support her in her fight against cancer.

I was heat broken when I came home. Cindy really let me down. Jagger was filthy and one of his wrinkles is all red and crusted with dirt. His skin is so red everywhere. So, she had been putting him in the back yard and leaving him!!!! And my kitties had no food. Hard lesson learned, that I can trust NO ONE with my fur babies. So, 12 hours on the road, come home and spend 2 hours putting things back in order and giving Jagger a good bath.

Poor Jagger he was probably so happy to see you guys how was Ellie? I hope Jagger is on the mend soon. When we go on vacation next year we have to take Sheldon with us there isn't anyone here I trust to watch over him and do for him like we do. I love me some Jagger and Ellie please give them extra loves from me and Sheldon.

No she is not family but might as well be. Oh I gave her the what for and made her help give Jagger a bath and go get cream for his face.

He could be worse. But just disappointed. And frustrated cause Jagger's face has always been so nice, no tear stains or raw wrinkles.

Jagger will be fine. He loved Mommy being home and getting a warm bath with his duckies and the new football I bought.

My niece is well. All her blood work numbers were up and she was feeling well. I got to take her out to dinner once and to the New Orleans Aquarium. That is all she could really do. She gets tired and worn out easily. So, we spent time painting and making rubber band bracelets. These are pictures from when I was there. She is still doing chemo but only once a month right now. So, her hair is starting to grow back a little she is so excited. She will do chemo

until September 2014. While I was there I bought her a Chemo Buddy. It's a life like doll that has a port just like her, that the nurses and hook fake tubes to and give "chemo" to her buddy too.

Imagine enduring all this sweetheart has been thru...and still going thru!
Look at that smile, she is so adorable!

And her family too, many a time this last year I've thought about losing my
only child and knew, I CAN'T do that, nope...not that one.

Jennye your niece is beautiful!!! a little boy that goes to school with my twins has leukemia. He and one of my twins are very good friends and he is such a fighter!

I can imagine your frustrations too. This is why I haven't been on vacation since 2008, I'm afraid to leave my bullies!

That is very disappointing, and more so since she's close enough to be family. Sorry you had to come home to Jagger being that bad. How long was she leaving him outside? I would have been quite upset too.

I have no clue how long he has been left outside. He was terrible dirty. He actually made kid in the tub when I washed him. And I had to soap him 3 times. His wrinkle under his right eye is red and raw. His feet are all red and so is his face my husband thinks it's because he's been left outside so much and was dirty for so long.
He's clean now with us in bed watching TV. And Ellie is in her bed for now

What a crappy thing to come home to after such a Greta visit with your beautiful niece ... Glad you gave the 'sitter' an earful and made her help clean and care for your baby. Hugs to you, Jagger and Ellie. Prayers and positive thoughts for your niece .. I so hope all her dreams come true.

Jagger is good now. His skin on his face is still a little pink and so are his wrinkles. I think his skin and allergies were in overdrive.

He is oh so happy Mom is back. But he still refused to get out of bed. He will literally turn his nose up at me lol
