Rosalie, Emma had a terrible bout with chin acne back in July. Here's here post on it. After it finally cleared up (which wasn't an easy task) it has yet to come back.

Hibiclens is slightly higher in chlorhexidine concentration than the duoxo pad, but yes, essentially the same medication that should help w/the chin acne.

It is possible -my american bulldog boy when i took him from the shelter (they use Staines steel )had a horrible rash ,as soon as i purchased ceramic bowls -few weeks after it cleared up
I didnt put anything on it ,i suppose i wanted to see if he could be having allergic reaction to stainless steel -i get same reaction every time i wear my watch or a belt for a whole day

I ordered the Duoxo pads which will arrive tomorrow and I will be buying ceramic bowl tonight after work. Last question, how many times should I apply pads to his chin? Thanks for all the help.

I did Emma twice daily. Not sure if that was too much but she was bad.
