I personally wouldn't do it as the paint will come off with the lightest scrape or touch. The only good thing to coat metal walls would be to powder coat it or use a metal dye and sealer.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds logical the stall walls have a primer coat that have become scratched. I think then best to just keep clean and not worry about the looks.

Yeah, not sure I would paint them either, I'm sure there is some paint for metal you could use, but I'm not sure which one that wouldn't be toxic.
