So here is my dilemma... I find myself worrying every single time we leave Loki whether it is for a few minutes or a work day. I am so bothered by the thought that something could be happening to him we looked into cameras besides the costs I am not sure that would be enough to help me feel better. I thought as the day turned to weeks and the weeks to a month it would get easier but it hasn't today I was running about 30 mins late and I was so worried the entire way home that I looked down and was hauling @$$. Then I thought what would I do if I got pulled over I was even later coming home what would I say to the cop then bam more anxiety comes on. I just wonder will this worry about him being alone ever get better?! I feel like I am going crazy!

I think this is part of being a bully mom/dad! My pups are crated when I'm not home, and yet I still worry. I still haven't decided what will happen if we have to take a vacation that they can't come on! I don't know who I would trust with my girls :) I don't think you're crazy, just a bully mom!

I crate Maggie and I still worry. I have daymares that she had to go and couldn't hold it and has been sitting in it all day or that she's so depressed being left alone blah blah blah. None of that is ever the case. I don't think it's going to go away. But you're not alone!

Hi, I agree with Tabatha, I think we all worry about our babies, as they are so special, and have more needs than the average dog. I've had dogs before, but never an EB, and I worry about them all the time. Join the rest of the crazy bully mamas. Lol. You're in good company.

yea i worry bout sarah to sometimes as she has so many allergies and likes to scratch herself bloody sometimes but mostly she is just fine. i think it comes with having a bully but i think there is a point where it can be to much. sometimes i think you have to just relax and enjoy your bully and not be overwhelmed with the worry part. not saying dont do it but try not to do it so much. i find my time with sarah is much better if im not so worried all the time. :)

I worry all the time - "whats happen if someone break to our house and steal one of the girls-most likely Lily, and shy wont hear it " or one of my girls get sick -when we leave the house i unplug everything -just in case ,close all my blinds so ppl cant look in etc
I also worry when they dont eat enough ;-)) , i constantly research better food for my money -i love giving them salmon ,glucosamine and other minerals and vitamins need to be on kibbble ingredient list(so i dont have to add to much powder to their food)
Then Shy skin allergies- i need to keep on top of everything so she wont have any rash comming
Since i became a mum i started to worry more , i dont go into panic mode ,but thoughts like this are crossing my mind
There are to many bad people out there i got to protect all of my girls (skin and fur babies)

Okkkkkk I thought at first I was paranoid but all my neighbors (I live in the boonies on a mountain n my neighbors r farmers there's a whopping 2 in a mile radius lol.......) know where my hide a key is :) they know porky is home alone so if they ever see fire trucks or smoke their instructions r to rescue her n we would do the same for them (we also know where their spare keys r n what room their animals r in) they also check on her when roger isn't home n let her out when he's out of town n I work!! I actually came home to a note taped to my front door one night saying "porky n ruckus didn't want to stop playing so porky is having a sleep over come get her when u get home.....don't worry we picked up all of ruckus' toys n food so she won't get sick" lol!! I worry about her all the time n miss her like crazy especially when I can't take her with me somewhere!!!!

Oh Nichole... I worry too!!! Of course I believe that your situation is way more stressful, Winston has never had a seizure. I feel so guilty if I'm away from the house for long periods, or we go to town for the day... Or if my kids are watching him at home like they are supposed to. I'm lucky that my mother-in-law will let him out for a bit if we are gone for the day... It's been hard to schedule vacations because I worry that he's going to do something, but honestly I just have to pray that he's going to be okay. Wait till you have skin kids of your own, it will only get worse!!! LOL

I think worrying is totally normal. Especially when you know your baby has had seizures in the past. We do the same thing when we leave to go out or if our friend want us to go do something that we know we would be gone a long time. Heck we have even cancelled plans because we don't want to leave Harlea for that long.

I worry about Ruthie all the time, especially with the seizures. I guess I've taken on the thinking though, whatever happens is supposed to happen and I can't control it. She knows she is the best doggy in the world and I love her lots, she's such a good dog. Since I do worry, she goes everywhere with us, I go home at lunch and if we have to be somewhere longer our neighbors check on her and take her out! Just imagine if you had a kid..LOL. I say that to my husband all the time and then I say, thank goodness I don't want any kids cause I would be such an over-protective parent and smother my children(like I do Ruthie).

I can understand the worrying if your boy (Rocco's distant cousin) has had seizures in the past. That's definitely normal. I don't so much worry about Rocco when I'm at work (like right now lol) but I think about if he's lonely or upset. He iscrated while I am away and he always has someone go to check on him right around this time whether it be my dad stopping by on his way home from work or my girlfriend who has a very flexible and works 10 min from my house. So I am lucky in that respect. I guess I just miss him so darn much!

my only hope is that as the months pass his allergies lessen and his blood panels stay fine that the worry go away some. I have always wondered if he is bored all alone but I know that he has tons of toys to play with to keep him company.
