Ok so Brutus has been having soft carvel like poops for a while now. He starts out regular but by the time he is done it is very soft. I feed him Merrick Buffalo and Sweet potato, grain free. He is 10 mos old. He only does like 2 poops a day but it concerns me that it is not firm. Sorry for the details but I am wondering if this is ok? Any help would be wonderful. Should I try another flavor of the same brand of dog food and If so do i need to transition or could I just switch? I should mention that he just had a vet visit and he was not feeling well. He was on antibiotic for unknown source of fever and reglan for his belly and all his blood work and stool samples were normal. vet said he was stressed out because we went on vacation and he missed us.

Ok so he took his last dose yesterday. When should I expect it to go back to normal?

Give it a few days after the last dose.... antibiotic will definitely cause it

Dang it, and I was all set to hit the Dairy Queen... LOL :bad: :poo:

Sounds like it was the meds... poor baby!!! Hopefully he will be back to normal soon...

How's his poo today? Probably the antibiotics, but if not cut back the amount of food he eats by a little and see if that helps.
