I got gluten free flour to make a pupcake for Mr. Seamus. Here are some recipes I found online:
Doggy cake
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3 Tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/2 apple, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350*.
- Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
- Grease a ramekin with olive oil. Fill with batter.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Peanut Butter Banana Pupcakes
Ingredients:
¼ cup honey
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 mashed ripe banana
2 tbsp canola oil
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup warm water
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Whisk wet ingredients together.
Add dry ingredients slowly mixing with whisk or fork until batter is muffin-like.
Spoon into mini muffin tin by the tablespoon.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before removing from tin.
Frozen Peanut Butter Banana Treats
INGREDIENTS:
3 - 6oz Containers of Plain, low fat yogurt
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1 - 4oz Jar Banana Baby Food
1 Tbsp Honey
DIRECTIONS:
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients, blend well. Pour mixture into small
paper cups and place a dog bone treat in the center (to serve as a handle).
Freeze. Once frozen peel away the paper cup and serve!
Doggie Peanut butter and Pumpkin cookies (wheat free)
Ingredients
2 cups White Rice Flour
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1 cup Pumpkin Puree
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
2. In a large bowl mix all ingredients one at a time, kneading well after each addition.
3. Knead dough into ball and roll onto a floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut with the cookie cutter of your choice.
4. Place on your prepared cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes (actually took about 18-20 minutes in my oven). Cool and refrigerate.
Makes 5 to 6 dozen small circles.
