Licking eachother

So duke and duchess constantly groom eachother- duke more so to duchess. Well duchess is on eye ointment due to the lashes that are bugging her, well everytime I put the ointment in duchess eye duke will try to lick it out of her eye. Does anyone else's do this? What do I do to get him to stop as she needs the ointment. Is the ointment harmful to duke? - I assume not as it's sucks small amounts.

Shy does it to Lily all the tine -especially after i put her eye drops in (to keep her cherry eye free from germs) i try to keep Lily away for a while before Shy attack her with her tongue

I would re-direct him from the ointment. Not sure it will hurt him, but i am sure she needs the ointment to do it's job
