Just wanted to share this picture of Pistol my cleft palate puppy. He was worth saving. Everyone that has ever saved a cleft palate puppy know how special they are. I honestly put my whole heart and soul in this baby for the first 12wks of his life. He had his surgery to repair at 8wks, and came home with a surgical feeding tube which was suppose to stay in for two wks. nothing in his mouth.Well that lasted 6 days before he scratched it out. then back to have another tube surgically implanted. which lasted about 5 days till he managed to puke that one up. so we started by mouth very soft food. He thought he was in heaven, he went everywhere with me. Everyone that meets him also feels that there is something special about him.
