"The Bulldog has been LA's top dog since 2009 despite the national obsession with the Labrador Retriever," said AKC Spokesperson Lisa Peterson. "Like many Los Angeles residents, the breed is often in the limelight for everything from its skateboarding skills to its work as a mascot for many colleges and universities."

Cool. Not sure where they rank by me. I know they are one of the most stole breeds around here though.

Its cool and it's no so cool. Being so popular only means more people will breed them, most of those people will breed them incorrectly.

That is a very good point and made me cringe at thought. :crazy:

Sometimes I think there should be a freeze on all breeding of puppies until every single dog in rescue and shelters is adopted. Then and only then should folks be allowed to buy a dog.

Good thing I'm not president huh? :p

Glad to see them up there and that the Frenchie is gaining too, but Bev is right, it's also a bad thing as every bonehead around wants to breed them and make a quick buck and then we have more unhealthy bullies and more in shelters and rescues.

Cool. Not sure where they rank by me. I know they are one of the most stole breeds around here though.

Where I'm from, that could lead to lead poisoning, in a New York Second. I'd suggest a few helpful things, like a decal of a Bully on your back window, and protected by .45 cal under it, and perhaps a yard sign I find most attractive in my area and see so many of;
