Just a few minutes ago I had the best laugh. My ribs are still aching, my cheeks are sore and tear covered.

My large bully mix Jay is a huge fan of the talking husky Mishka's videos on Youtube. The very first time it was played he howled heartily all the way through the video and then some. I'll admit I laughed when that happened but no where near as hard as tonite.

I'm not sure why, but my husband played the video. Sadie perked up out of a deep sleep and did the side to side head tilts at Jay singing away and then burst out with her own tiny, well squeal. I'm not sure I can describe it as a howl, it was more like a small childs longwinded cry or a ready tea kettle. I was completely unprepared!!

I am so thorougly enjoying our new family member.

On another note she impressed me greatly on our walk last night, she is the only dog that I've ever owned that "healed" perfectly. She even held her potty untill we were back in our own yard. She's also doing good with sit, but she's usually too excited for the behind to stop moving side to side.

This is going so well! So glad you are enjoying her so much! Even more glad both dogs are getting along! Such good news!

darn, where is the video camera when you need it?!

I most definitly will!

Well its been four awesome days, and just a few hours ago the giant chicken Jay FINALLY initiated a game of wrestle with her outside. I was so happy! You could tell he wanted to play but was intimidated by her. He'd playbow and tease her with a toy but when she'd get close he'd drop it and run or jump back a few paces. So far today they have played tug, ball chase and flat out wrestle. Jay even gave her a belly show to initiate another game of wrestle.

After the first nights couch guarding there hasn't been an iota of agression from her except when she feels the need to guard the property then its just hackles and barks. My only real worry is my neighbor lets their semi agressive rat terrier run loose and it usually ends up in my yard. It has actually backed myself and Jay right back into our house when we first moved to the neighborhood. Not sure how thats going to work out untill we get our fence completed. On the first initial meet up she was good with Jay, but it was neutral ground, experienced handlers, and Jay is very social with other dogs. She listens very well but its obvious she got no real basic obedience training as a young dog. She's doing very well though adjusting and I LOVE watching her "decide" whether nor not she'd like to sit. Now that she's figuring out she gets ALOT more pets and "happy talks" when she does sit its working pretty well. She almost picks up on hand signals better than voice commands though.

Ooooooh love the sinature!!!!! Are you creating that? Awesome!!!

I would love to see a pic of your baby too! There is a thread in the members only board for family photos to share. If u are not comfortable posting I understand :)

Not my creation, I wish! A friend had made a few for me a while back actually and this is probably my fav. Did update my profile pic of the baby and me but I will add to the family photos also. ;)

So far all of my babies are four legged, or winged heheheh.

I just HAD to share pics with you guys that I snapped a few minutes ago!
